What's New: TDAM Expands its Line-up

TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) continues to refine its mutual fund line-up to provide investors with more features and flexibility, including:

  • TD Global Disciplined Equity Alpha Fund

A global extension of our TD U.S. Disciplined Equity Alpha Fund(1) (formerly TD U.S. Quantitative Equity Fund). The TD Global Disciplined Equity Alpha Fund seeks to achieve long term capital growth by investing primarily in equities across the world.

    Key Features Include:

    • Leveraging technology: The TD Global Disciplined Equity Alpha Fund (the Fund) utilizes a quantitative investing strategy, focusing on data-driven analysis to evaluate broad stock universes.
    • Consistency of returns: By deriving company factor information from many data sources, our portfolio management team can help generate more attractive risk-return profiles for clients.
    • Robust risk management: This solution makes full use of the in-house risk modelling capabilities used to build and manage low-volatility strategies over the last decade.

  • TD Target Maturity Bond Funds

The TD TMB Funds invest in a portfolio of investment-grade corporate bonds which are hand-picked by the Fixed Income Investment Team at TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM), offering increased diversification and the chance to generate higher yields. Each Fund matures in successive years from 2025 to 2027 and is available in both Canadian and U.S. dollar versions.

    Key Features Include:

    • Aligning investment time horizons – TD TMB Funds offer the ability to match the time horizon of the investor with the maturity date of the Fund, which allows investors to save for specific financial goals or needs.
    • Build laddered portfolios – TD TMB Funds are an efficient way to help build a laddered portfolio to manage interest rate and/or reinvestment risk. While a traditional bond fund will typically buy and sell individual bonds to maintain an average maturity, a target maturity bond Fund has a fixed target date, and when the Fund closes, investors should receive their principal, similar to individual bond investments.

Each fund may invest up to 100% of its asset value in the units of the corresponding TD Target Maturity Bond ETFs.

    • TD Target 2025 Investment Grade Bond Fund
    • TD Target 2026 Investment Grade Bond Fund
    • TD Target 2027 Investment Grade Bond Fund
